pic1Arrive Thursday the 25th of September at the Ogden-Hinckley Airport, located on 700 acres at the southwestern corner of Ogden, and within minutes of downtown.  The airport maintains three runways, including Runway 3/21, 8100 feet in length.  In addition, an all-weather, 24 hr precision ILS approach gives the airport top credentials as an FAA Part 139 General Aviation airport, and a weather diversion alternative for Salt Lake City International Airport,  which is located only 40 miles to the south.  For more information visit http://www.cornerstoneaviation.com/locations.htm#ogd

Friday you will have the opportunity to enjoy the lovely fall weather and foliage by pic2taking a bus ride from Ogden to Snowbasin Ski Resort, the site of many events during the 2002 Winter Olympics.   We will be having a brunch buffet in their main lodge, where the marble & gold bathrooms are a must see!  Brunch will be followed by a round trip ride in an enclosed gondola to Needles lodge, located at the top of the mountain resort at an elevation of over 8000'.  This will be $50/person for the 4 hour event, and space is limited, so register early.  For more information visit http://www.snowbasin.com

The museum was founded in 1981 as a part of the United States Air Force Heritage Program and first opened in 1986. Currently the Museum exhibits over 80 military aircraft, missiles, and aerospace vehicles on the grounds. The museum collection also includes a wide variety of ordnance, an assortment of aerospace ground equipment, military vehicles, uniforms, and thousands of other historical artifacts.  Most notable, the museum includes a display dedicated to Women in the Military and the WASPS, including Utah 99's member Alberta Nicholson.  Alberta is also the only female member in the Utah Aviation Hall of Fame located at the museum.
